Gov starts vaccinating economic frontliners on Labor Day

The Philippine government began vaccinating the A4 priority group, which includes economic frontliners and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), on Labor Day.

Manila vaccinated 705 OFWs and local essential workers at Palacio de Maynila by 1 p.m. on Saturday.

DOLE initiated the vaccination of 3,000 OFWs and 2,000 other workers across Metro Manila sites including Taguig City and Quezon City.

Testing czar Vince Dizon stated that full-scale vaccinations for the A4 priority group will begin as early as June once vaccine supplies arrive.
