IATF updates entry rules for vaccinated Filipinos

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) approved new COVID-19 vaccination certificates from Slovenia, Bahrain, Qatar, Switzerland, and Hong Kong SAR.

Fully vaccinated Filipino nationals can enter the Philippines without mandatory facility-based quarantine starting Feb. 10, only needing to self-monitor for symptoms for seven days upon arrival.

Unvaccinated travelers must still undergo a five-day facility-based quarantine followed by home quarantine until their 14th day in the country, with an RT-PCR test on the fifth day.

The IATF also updated testing and quarantine protocols for inbound Filipino travelers, removing the 'green,' 'yellow,' and 'red' risk classifications for countries.
