Duterte ends quarantine after COVID exposure

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte completed his isolation period after being exposed to a household staff member who tested positive for COVID-19.

Initially placed under quarantine on January 30, Duterte has since tested negative twice using RT-PCR tests and was cleared by his physician.

During the isolation period, Duterte continued working from home and communicated with Cabinet members to address urgent matters related to pandemic response.
