IATF suspends plan to reopen PH to foreign tourists

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) has suspended plans to reopen the Philippines to foreign tourists due to concerns over the new Omicron variant.

Only Filipinos, balikbayan, and those with long-term visas from green and yellow list countries may enter the country.

Travelers from Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary, The Netherlands, Switzerland, Belgium, and Italy are barred from entering the Philippines until December 15.

Presidential Spox Karlo Alexei Nograles announced that Resolution 150-A allowing fully vaccinated foreigners with visa-free privileges to enter the country is temporarily suspended.
