Duterte to announce new quarantine rules June 15

President Duterte will announce new quarantine rules for the country on June 15.

Duterte was initially scheduled to meet with the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) in Davao City, but moved the meeting to Manila on Monday.

The IATF-EID has already made recommendations based on 'science and data', but these are still subject to Duterte's approval.

Roque warned against sharing leaked documents from the IATF-EID as they might contain fake news due to possible changes.

LGUs have been informed about potential quarantine reclassifications in their areas, allowing them to appeal before the President’s announcement.
