PH has most virus cases in ASEAN; not a contest

The Philippines has the highest number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Southeast Asia, but Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles says this is not a contest and that the country's response mirrors its neighbors.

Nograles defended the government's measures, stating that the increase in case numbers reflects expanded testing capacity rather than a failure in containment efforts.

As of April 15, the Philippines reported 5,453 confirmed cases, including 349 deaths and 353 recoveries.
