House implements measures against novel coronavirus

The House of Representatives has implemented precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV).

Measures include using thermal scanners at entrances, distributing protective masks and gloves, setting up holding areas for suspected cases, cleaning common areas, and monitoring health status.

House Secretary-General Jose Luis Montales advised those who have traveled to affected countries since January 20 to practice self-quarantine for 14 days upon arrival.
