Habagat brings rain to Northern Luzon, partly cloudy in Metro Manila

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) continues to affect Northern Luzon on Monday, bringing overcast skies with rain showers and scattered thunderstorms.

Ilocos Region, Apayao, Abra, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region may experience occasional rains leading to potential flooding or landslides due to moderate rainfall.

Metro Manila is expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms while Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan are forecasted to have generally fair weather.

PAGASA is monitoring two low-pressure areas (LPAs) that have entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility but currently have a low chance of making landfall or developing into tropical cyclones.

Coastal waters will experience slight conditions throughout the nation, and no gale warnings are raised by PAGASA.
