Negros Oriental awaits fresh vaccine supply amid surge

Negros Oriental has not yet received a fresh supply of COVID-19 vaccines despite being one of the country's high-risk areas.

Dr. Mary Jean Loreche, chief pathologist of DOH-7, stated that while there is a pronouncement from the national government to prioritize vaccine delivery for Negros Oriental, no new supplies have arrived yet.

Negros Oriental Governor Roel Degamo has requested additional doses of vaccines from Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr., but details on the quantity are not available.
