Over 16M COVID-19 vax doses arrive since February

Over 16 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in the Philippines since February, with the latest shipment consisting of two million Sinovac vaccine doses arriving at NAIA Terminal 2 on Thursday.

Of the total doses, 11 million are Sinovac vaccines from China, with the most recent batch purchased partly by Manila's city government and partly by the national government.

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr., and Manila Mayor Isko Moreno welcomed the latest shipment at the airport.
