98% of PH vaccine supply distributed, new shipments arrive

More than 98 percent of the country's vaccine supply has been distributed, with remaining doses serving as buffer stocks.

DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said new shipments from Sinovac and Pfizer-BioNTech would be deployed soon to replenish local government units' supplies.

The US Embassy announced that 2.28 million Pfizer doses arrived in the Philippines, benefiting Cebu, Davao, and Manila.

BOC cleared a shipment of over three million vaccines, including 111,150 Pfizer doses and Sinovac vaccines arriving separately on Thursday.

A million more Sinovac vaccine doses arrived on Wednesday, bringing the total supply to around 10.3 million.
