Bacolod suspends school graduations due to COVID-19

Bacolod City has suspended graduation and moving-up ceremonies for all levels of public and private schools due to the threat of COVID-19.

Mayor Evelio Leonardia signed an executive order on Thursday after consulting with health, police, and disaster risk reduction officials.

Leonardia cited President Duterte's declaration of a national health emergency and the World Health Organization's designation of the disease as a public health emergency of international concern.
