Cities distribute cash aid to over 75% of target beneficiaries

As of Wednesday, April 21, both Quezon City and Manila have distributed financial aid from the national government to over 75% of their target beneficiaries.

Quezon City has reached 76.79% of its target, with 605,614 families receiving assistance.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) reported on Monday that PHP7.5 billion out of a total PHP23 billion has been distributed to qualified recipients in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces affected by ECQ.
