Gov to vaccinate 9M seniors with comorbidities

The government plans to vaccinate around nine million senior citizens with immunocompromised conditions, such as HIV, cancer, and transplant patients.

On Monday, the Philippines began administering booster shots to senior citizens (A2) and immunocompromised individuals (A3), aiming to inoculate approximately 8.2 million elderly and 8.4 million adults with comorbidities within about eight days if one million people are vaccinated daily.

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. noted that many senior citizens were eagerly anticipating and registered for the booster program.
