Tropical Storm Kristine causes floods, landslides; GMA Kapuso aids Bicol

Tropical Storm Kristine has caused severe flooding and landslides in eastern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, resulting in three deaths reported in the Bicol region.

Roads have turned into rivers, forcing evacuations of residents as water levels continue to rise.

GMA Kapuso Foundation is actively distributing relief goods through its Operation Bayanihan project to affected areas in Quezon Province and Batangas. More than 1,000 residents received food packs in Catanauan, while aid was also given to some residents in Canda Ilaya, as well as Lipa, Bauan, and Lemery.
