Barangay Ginebra levels PBA Finals at 2-2 with 106-92 win over TNT

Barangay Ginebra tied the PBA Governors' Cup finals at 2-2 with a decisive 106-92 victory over TNT on Sunday, November 3, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

TNT coach Chot Reyes acknowledges that momentum has shifted in Barangay Ginebra's favor as the series moves to a best-of-three format starting Wednesday, November 6.

Justin Brownlee led Barangay Ginebra with 34 points and six rebounds, while Japeth Aguilar contributed 18 points and six rebounds, but both fell short of individual awards in favor of Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and June Mar Fajardo respectively.

Maverick Ahanmisi and Stephen Holt played crucial roles in the comeback, each scoring 18 points with Ahanmisi adding 8 rebounds and 2 steals, while Holt posted 5 steals and defended TNT import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson throughout the game.

Head coach Tim Cone emphasized that their success was due to consistent big plays throughout the conference, particularly during critical moments of the game.
