Gilas Pilipinas secured a comeback victory over Qatar with a final score of 74-72 in the Doha International Cup on Friday, February 14 (Saturday, February 15 Manila time).

Justin Brownlee led the charge in the fourth quarter, scoring key points including a transition dunk that gave Gilas Pilipinas the lead for good and helped secure their win.

Dwight Ramos contributed significantly with 15 points, while June Mar Fajardo added 12 points and seven rebounds; Scottie Thompson also finished with 10 points.

Filipino fans played a crucial role as thousands packed the Qatar University Stadium, helping Gilas Pilipinas outscore Qatar in the final period by 9-3 to turn around an 8-point deficit.

The team will next face Lebanon at 11 pm (PH time) on Saturday night as part of their preparation for upcoming Fiba Asia Cup qualifiers and the continental meet in August.
