Gilas Pilipinas back home, eyes final window games vs Chinese Taipei, New Zealand

Gilas Pilipinas returned home on Monday after competing in Doha, Qatar, where they played against Egypt and Lebanon.

The team is now preparing for upcoming matches against Chinese Taipei and New Zealand as part of their final window games for the Asia Cup Qualifiers.

Guard CJ Perez noted that despite limited time together due to players' commitments in different leagues, the team feels comfortable with coach Tim Cone's system.

Chinese Taipei will host Gilas on Thursday at Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium, while New Zealand will face them on Sunday at Spark Arena in Auckland.

Both matches are crucial for seeding purposes ahead of the Asia Cup in August, where Gilas Pilipinas is already qualified and aims to secure a top seed position.
