Davao plans new Covid-19 testing center

Davao City is planning to convert Los Amigos Health Center into a new Covid-19 testing facility in about a month.

The city currently has only one testing center at the Southern Philippines Medical Center with a capacity of 80 tests per day.

Mayor Sara Duterte met with Presidential Peace Adviser Carlito Galvez Jr. on Saturday to discuss boosting local testing and isolation facilities.

Galvez turned over 20,000 rapid diagnostic test kits and other supplies for distribution in Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao de Oro, Davao Oriental, and Davao City.
