DFA: Overseas Filipino COVID-19 recoveries reach 8,235

As of Tuesday December 22, the number of Filipinos abroad who have recovered from COVID-19 increased to 8,235.

The total tally of cases remained at 12,816 with no new cases reported but there was one additional fatality bringing the death toll to 929.

In Asia and the Pacific region, recoveries are at 1,815 while in the Middle East/Africa, recoveries stand at 4,668.

Europe has recorded 1,772 cases with 160 deaths and 1,226 recoveries.

The DFA continues to monitor the situation of overseas Filipinos affected by the pandemic.
