PNP reports 26 more COVID-19 cases

As of Wednesday, December 16, the number of COVID-19 cases among Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel increased to 8,637 with 26 new infections.

The total recoveries rose to 8,198 after 30 more personnel recovered from the illness.

There have been no additional deaths reported, keeping the death toll at 27.

Active cases remain at 412.

On December 13, there were 19 new infections and 59 recoveries, bringing the total cases to 8,578 and recoveries to 8,112.
