Florita causes 8 flights canceled, Tuguegarao Airport closed

Eight domestic flights between Manila and Batanes, Occidental Mindoro, and Cagayan were canceled on Wednesday due to Tropical Storm Florita.

The Tuguegarao Airport was temporarily closed from 10:35 a.m. to 4 p.m. due to minor damage like rainwater dripping from the ceiling.

Flights affected include PAL Express flights 2P 2932 and 2P 2933, CebGo flights DG 6031 and DG 6032, and Cebu Pacific flights 5J 504/505 and 5J 506/507.

Despite Florita leaving the Philippine area of responsibility, gusts reaching strong breeze to gale-force strength may still be experienced in Mimaropa, Metro Manila, Cavite, Quezon, Bulacan, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Aurora, and parts of Cordillera Administrative Region and Cagayan Valley until Thursday.
