Florita leaves PH but rain, strong winds persist in Luzon

Severe Tropical Storm Florita left the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Wednesday, but some parts of Luzon will continue to experience heavy rain and strong winds.

PAGASA warned that scattered flooding and rain-induced landslides are still expected in areas highly susceptible to these hazards.

As of Tuesday afternoon, stormy weather was forecast for Northern Luzon, with heavy to intense rains over the Babuyan Islands, Zambales, and Bataan, posing risks of flash floods or landslides.
