FEU advances to Shakey's Super League Final Four, defeating CSB in four sets

Far Eastern University advanced to the Final Four of the 2024 Shakey's Super League Collegiate Pre-season Championship after defeating College of St. Benilde in a four-set match on Sunday, winning with scores of 21-25, 25-20, 25-17, and 25-17.

The Lady Tamaraws, who were given a second chance due to their regular season performance, dominated the game with strong performances from veterans Chenie Tagaod, Alyzza Devosora, and Gerzel Petallo, all of whom scored double-digit points.

FEU capitalized on the Lady Blazers' 30 errors to secure their spot in the semifinals where they will face either National University or University of the Philippines on Nov. 6.

Devosora and Tagaod each scored 15 points for FEU, while Clarisse Loresco contributed six markers.

Meanwhile, De La Salle clinched a semifinal ticket by outlasting Ateneo in a thrilling five-set match that lasted over three hours with scores of 25-18, 25-20, 20-25, 20-25, and 17-15.
