De La Salle beats Far Eastern 64-60 in UAAP women's basketball

De La Salle University secured a crucial 64-60 victory against Far Eastern University in the UAAP Season 87 women's basketball tournament on Wednesday.

The win halted De La Salle's two-game losing streak and kept their Final Four hopes alive, improving their record to 3-8 with three games left.

Betts Binaohan returned from injury to score 15 points, adding eight rebounds, three steals, and two assists in the comeback victory.

Far Eastern University led by nine points going into the fourth quarter but De La Salle responded with a dominant 13-2 run to reclaim the lead and secure the win.

With this result, both teams are tied for fifth to seventh place in the league standings, though they remain three games behind Ateneo Blue Eagles who will face FEU on Saturday.
