FDA approves Sinovac's COVID-19 vaccine for PH clinical trials

The Philippines has approved Sinovac Biotech's application to conduct Phase 3 clinical trials for its COVID-19 vaccine in the country.

Sinovac’s application was approved on January 15, while Janssen Pharmaceutica of Johnson & Johnson and Clover Biopharmaceuticals were also given approval earlier this month.

Despite the ongoing clinical trials, Malacañang assured that these will not affect the planned rollout of Sinovac's vaccine in February.
