Duque: Fast contact tracing needed to prevent new wave

Health Secretary Francisco Duque III emphasized the need for fast and thorough contact tracing to prevent a new wave of COVID-19 cases.

Duque reminded local government units that they should have at least one contact tracer per 800 people, stressing the importance of immediate isolation of identified cases and their contacts.

He noted this is crucial as areas under enhanced community quarantine transition into modified ECQ or less stringent levels starting May 16.
