Gov’t restricts movement of seniors, children in MGCQ

The government has revised its guidelines for modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) to restrict movement of children, seniors, pregnant women, and individuals with certain health conditions.

Initially, the guidelines stated that everyone could leave their homes under MGCQ as long as they followed minimum public health standards.

However, the latest resolution from the national coronavirus task force now prohibits these vulnerable groups from leaving home except for essential activities or work.
