IATF expands list of allowed lodging establishments during quarantine

The government has expanded the list of accommodation establishments allowed to operate during community quarantines.

In addition to hotels with Department of Tourism certificates, resorts, apartment hotels, tourist inns, motels, pension houses, private homes used for homestay, ecolodges, serviced apartments, condotels and bed and breakfast facilities are now permitted to operate with a DOT permit.

These establishments can only provide basic accommodation services and must limit their workforce to a skeleton crew.

Ancillary services such as restaurants, cafes, bars, gyms, and spas within these accommodations cannot operate.
