Eastern Visayas logs 124 new Covid-19 recoveries

Eastern Visayas logged 124 new Covid-19 recoveries on January 2, bringing the region's cumulative total to 10,641 recoveries.

The recovery rate stands at 93.22 percent of the region's confirmed cases since March, attributed to a high percentage of asymptomatic or mild patients (98.8%) managed in local facilities.

As of January 2, there are 643 active cases and 131 deaths reported in Eastern Visayas.
