DFA: 28 new COVID-19 cases among Filipinos abroad

As of Tuesday, December 29, 2020, the number of Filipinos abroad who have tested positive for COVID-19 increased to 12,875 with 28 new cases.

The total recoveries rose to 8,386 after 10 more patients recovered, while the death toll remained at 911.

Currently, 3,578 Filipino nationals are still receiving treatment for the illness.

In Asia and the Pacific region, there were 2,664 cases with 788 active cases, 1,855 recoveries, and 21 deaths. In the Middle East or Africa, there were 7,658 cases with 2,403 active cases, 4,677 recoveries, and 578 deaths.

In Europe, there were 1,772 cases with 325 active cases, 1,329 recoveries, and 118 deaths.
