PAGASA forecasts rainshowers, thunderstorms across PH

PAGASA forecasts partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms across the Philippines due to Easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms; residents are advised to prepare accordingly.

A tropical depression, expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Friday or Saturday, is currently 1,290 kilometers east of Mindanao with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gusts up to 70 kph.

The weather agency also warns of moderate to strong winds and rough coastal waters over Luzon, while Visayas and Mindanao will experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate waters.
