Typhoon Bising rapidly intensifies over PH sea

Typhoon Bising continues to rapidly intensify over Philippine waters, moving west-northwest at 20 kph.

As of Saturday morning, Bising was located 705 km east of Surigao City with maximum sustained winds of 175 kph and gustiness up to 215 kph.

PAGASA forecasts the typhoon to reach peak intensity of 195-205 kph on Sunday.

Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao regions will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
