Amihan, easterlies bring rains over Luzon, E. Visayas

The northeast monsoon (amihan) and easterlies are causing scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over parts of Luzon, Eastern Visayas, and Mindanao.

On Wednesday, Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands in extreme northern Luzon will experience light rains due to amihan, while the Bicol region and Eastern Visayas will see scattered rain showers and thunderstorms from easterlies.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country are expected to have isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warns residents of possible flash floods or landslides during severe weather conditions.
