Duterte vows transparency in use of PHP275B Covid-19 funds

President Duterte assured transparency in the use of PHP275 billion in emergency funds allocated for addressing the coronavirus pandemic.

The President vowed to account for every centavo spent and promised that the funds would be directed towards mitigating virus transmission and supporting the economy.

In a public address, Duterte emphasized the importance of transparency and stated that it would be better if people were aware of where the funds are being allocated.
