Duterte: Spare COVID-19 vaccines for NPA, eyes Odette revisit

President Rodrigo Duterte stated on Monday that spare COVID-19 vaccines can be given to New People's Army (NPA) members.

He expressed his wish to revisit areas affected by Typhoon Odette to ensure promises made by officials have been fulfilled and to check the vaccination status of residents.

Duterte noted some officers are not following through with their commitments, saying they 'say yes but do nothing.'.

The President suggested that the Philippine Coast Guard use fast crafts to deliver vaccines more quickly to remote areas.
