Duterte orders PNP to prep stations for vaccine distribution

President Rodrigo Duterte ordered police stations to clean up and prepare for potential use as coronavirus vaccination centers once vaccines are available.

Duterte also stated that members of the New People's Army (NPA) can receive free government vaccines but fighting will continue after they get vaccinated.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is preparing for vaccine distribution by December, with Duterte instructing them to be the implementing arm of the immunization program.

Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III mentioned that at least 20 million Filipinos will receive free COVID-19 vaccines, prioritizing those receiving government assistance and hospital patients.
