Duterte offers PHP30K reward for info on corrupt officials

President Duterte has offered a PHP30,000 reward to individuals who report corrupt officials involved in irregularities during the distribution of emergency cash aid under the Social Amelioration Program.

The government promises protection and careful attention to those providing information on unlawful distribution of subsidies.

Roque emphasized the need for evidence when reporting such allegations, citing a case involving a barangay councilor from Hagonoy, Bulacan who was caught pocketing part of the cash assistance intended for beneficiaries.
