Duterte inspects Agaton damage in Leyte

President Rodrigo Duterte conducted an aerial inspection of Baybay City, Leyte on Good Friday to assess damage from Tropical Depression Agaton.

The visit included a meeting with government officials to evaluate casualties and damages; over 100 people died in landslides and floods.

As of the latest report, 137 deaths were recorded across Eastern Visayas, Western Visayas, and Davao region, while 28 individuals remain missing and eight injured.

A total of 494,607 families or 1.69 million people have been affected in various regions due to Agaton.
