PRRD leads aid distribution for 'Agaton' victims

President Rodrigo Duterte led the distribution of assistance to families affected by Tropical Depression Agaton on Saturday.

He was joined by Senator Bong Go, DSWD Secretary Rolando Bautista, and Capiz Governor Esteban Contreras during the event at Pontevedra Elementary School in Capiz.

The President assured that food aid will continue until all affected families can sustain themselves.

DSWD Regional Director Evelyn Macapobre said they provided standard assistance such as food packs, sleeping mats, kitchen kits, and hygiene kits, along with PHP5,000 cash assistance to 148 families.
