Palace: Gov't transparent about Covid-19 response

Malacañang says Duterte's administration is transparent about its achievements and shortcomings in handling the COVID-19 pandemic.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque dismissed Vice President Leni Robredo's claims that the government is in denial about its lapses, calling them baseless.

Roque emphasized that fighting COVID-19 requires a whole-of-government approach and collective effort.

On Thursday, Roque also stated that the government is taking appropriate measures to combat the virus and is looking for new strategies to contain its spread.
