Duterte inspects Ulysses-hit areas in Cagayan

President Rodrigo Duterte arrived in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan on Sunday to inspect flood damage caused by Typhoon Ulysses and hold a briefing with officials.

On Thursday, despite his busy schedule due to the ASEAN Summit, Duterte conducted an aerial inspection of flooded areas in Marikina City and Rizal province.

Senator Christopher 'Bong' Go accompanied Duterte during both inspections and shared photos and footage on social media.

Duterte ordered the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine Coast Guard, and other government agencies to mobilize all available rescue equipment to assist affected residents.
