Durham scores 34 points, leads Meralco past NorthPort

Allen Durham delivered a standout performance with 34 points, 16 rebounds, and nine assists as Meralco Bolts secured a 109-99 victory over NorthPort in the PBA Governors' Cup on Sunday.

Despite manpower issues including key players missing due to illness, Durham's third-quarter surge helped build a significant lead for Meralto.

Chris Banchero contributed with 23 points, while Arvin Tolentino scored 21 but missed most of the final quarter due to injury.

Durham noted that although he is improving, he still has work to do in getting back to prime shape and emphasized the importance of conditioning for their upcoming games.

The win improved Meralco's record to 3-1 and tied them for first place in Group A alongside TNT Tropang Giga.
