Dumaguete Mayor tests positive for COVID-19

Dumaguete City Mayor Felipe Antonio Remollo tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of President Rodrigo Duterte's visit on Monday.

Despite testing positive, Remollo assured that Duterte's meeting would proceed as scheduled and regular government functions would continue.

City councilor Michael Bandal, who also tested positive along with Councilor Karissa Tolentino, urged residents to stay home and adhere to safety protocols.

Bandal emphasized the importance of responsibility and cooperation in addressing rising cases of COVID-19.
