DOH-7: No ECQ for Negros Oriental despite surge

DOH-7 chief Dr Jaime Bernadas does not recommend placing Negros Oriental under ECQ despite the surge in COVID-19 cases.

The province's health director Dr Liland Estacion says cases will continue to rise but have not yet peaked.

Two medical groups, PCP-Negros Oriental and NOMS, called for stricter measures like ECQ due to fears of healthcare system collapse as hospitals approach full capacity.
