DTI: Alert Level 3 to bring back most of NCR's 300K displaced workers

Most workers displaced by the pandemic in Metro Manila are expected to return to work as the region transitions to Alert Level 3.

DTI Secretary Ramon Lopez said with the reopening of most economic sectors, particularly the service sector, at higher operating capacities, around 300,000 displaced workers will likely resume employment.

However, Lopez noted that job numbers have not yet reached pre-pandemic levels due to business establishments still operating below full capacity and certain activities remaining closed.
