Cinemas reopen in NCR under Alert Level 3

Cinemas in Metro Manila will reopen under Alert Level 3 starting October 16 with a 30% indoor capacity limit for fully vaccinated individuals.

Moviegoers must sit one seat apart to maintain social distancing, as announced by DILG Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya.

Some colleges are also expected to resume limited face-to-face classes during this period until October 31.

The Cinema Exhibitors Association of the Philippines (CEAP) reported that 7,000 workers in movie theaters lost their jobs due to closures.
