OCTA: NCR COVID-19 reproduction number down to 1.19

The reproduction number of COVID-19 in NCR has decreased to 1.19 as of Wednesday, April 14, according to OCTA Research fellow Prof. Guido David.

David noted a negative growth rate was observed and hopes the number will drop further to 1.1 by the end of the week.

On Monday, April 12, David also predicted a downward trend in cases with NCR under MECQ until April 30, expecting daily cases to decrease from an average of 10,000 to around 7,000.
