Palace: Don't trust comedians' views on COVID-19 vaccines

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Monday advised the public to disregard comedians' views on the government's COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan and instead listen to expert opinions.

Roque did not name the comedian but referred to Vice Ganda, who criticized Roque's statement last week that Filipinos cannot choose which vaccine they will receive for free from the government.

Vice Ganda expressed his sentiment on social media on January 12, a day after Roque made the controversial remark, questioning why people can be choosy about soap but not vaccines.
