Galvez defends confidential vaccine price negotiations

Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. defended the government's decision to keep vaccine prices confidential under confidentiality disclosure agreements (CDAs).

Galvez warned that disclosing these prices could jeopardize the 148 million doses of vaccines secured for the Philippines.

He stated that releasing this information prematurely would breach existing contracts with vaccine manufacturers, potentially causing the loss of negotiated deals.
